Regional Team Try-outs

Time: 10am – 3:00 pm

No onsite registration. Registration deadline Sunday April 19. 2009
General Information:
· Goggles and mouth guards Mandatory!!!! The try-outs are on both turf and grass fields.
· Every Player MUST bring a ball for try-outs.
· All players trying out must be in High School (grades 9-11) and on Varsity.
· All players MUST be members of US Lacrosse prior to trying out and MUST provide proof of membership (#and expiration date) on the registration form. To get US Lacrosse registration form, simply go online @ www.lacrosse.org . Memberships must be current through the date of the National Tournament (May 24, 2009). Membership number and expiration date can be found on the address label of your Lacrosse Magazine or on your membership card. New members may bring the confirmation letter from US Lacrosse.
· No clothing should be worn that identifies your high school or club team.
· No hair ribbons, bows, or bandana’s or any other identifying clothing should be worn. (Exception keepers under the helmet). Bring a light lunch as there will not be time to leave campus.
· All Registration must be completed online at www.uslacrosse.org by April 19, 2009. No onsite or late registration accepted.
Players must be present at the full try out session & the mandatory practices in Rochester on Sunday May 3rd.

· Tournament Dates: May 23-24 Site: Cedar Lane Sports Complex, Bel Air, Maryland
· Tournament Fee: $185.00 THIS FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND DUE BY MAY 3RD TO BETH STONE. Any player dropping out after the selection process is complete will not receive a refund, will not be eligible for US Lacrosse Honors, and will not be able to try out the following year. (exception; season ending injury)
· Practice Sessions: Sunday May 3rd from 10 am – 2 pm in Rochester NY (site TBA).

IF YOU ARE TRYING OUT FOR THIS TEAM, YOU ARE COMMITTING TO PLAY IN THIS TOURNAMENT. IF YOU FAIL TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN SEASON ENDING INJURY OR DEATH, YOU FORFEIT YOUR RIGHT TO USL HONORS FOR THAT YEAR AND YOUR RIGHT TO PLAY IN SUBSEQUENT USL NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS.
